Teacher of English with 10 years of experience. Recently, I have been trying to break through into the front-end development field.
Nicolás studied primary and secondary education at The Wessex School in the city of Concepción. Later, he entered Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción to study English Pedagogy. He completed a one-year internship in England before returning to obtain his teaching degree. He also completed a diploma in simultaneous interpretation English-Spanish at the EATRI Institute in Santiago.
Between 2010 and 2013 I worked as an English teacher at La Araucana Educational Corporation. I was the homeroom teacher, responsible for groups of 45 students. I maintained contact with each of them, addressing their problems, needs, and interacting with their parents/guardians in order to solve each of their issues.
In 2014 I worked for the company SEGO as a translator of manuals and brochures for imported translation tools. I also traveled to Austria to perform consecutive interpretations with the company SOLA for training sessions on the use of tools for staff members.
Since then, I have been working as a freelance English-Spanish teacher and translator.
My first landing page. Very simple but sleek design.
A slightly more advanced work, with some beginner-level CSS added to the mix.
This landing page included the use of framework Bootstrap.
